New advancements in Trimble R-Track technology have resulted in consistent delivery of precise positioning information, even in the most challenging GNSS conditions. Trimble R-Track with Signal Prediction has proven to be a giant step for the surveying industry. Signal Prediction compensates for intermittent RTK signals, enabling extended operation after an interruption.
The R8 GNSS supports a wide range of satellite signals, including GPS L2C and L5 and GLONASS L1/L2 signals. Trimble has also planned to make support for Galileo-compatible products be available well ahead of Galileo system availability in the market. To support this plan, R8 GNSS is capable of tracking the experimental GIOVE-A and GIOVE-B test satellites for both signal evaluation and test purposes.
The R8 GNSS includes a built-in TX/RX UHF radio, which provides maximum flexibility for rover or base operation and external radio for increasing quality and reliability (TDL 450 series).
As a base station, the internal NTRIP caster provides customized access to base station corrections using the internet.
Filed and office teams can securely share date over web-based environments using software.
Another tool Utilities Technical Support employs is the TSC3 Controller; a rugged and flexible handheld data collector that comes standard with Trimble excess Controller Software. The TSC3 Controller is ideal for site measurement, stakeout, and grade checking operations. Using this combination of rugged hardware and targeted software, supervisors, foremen, grade checkers and site engineers gain total control of site operations.
